*Wondering why we recommend the front-facing camera?*
It's MUCH easier to frame the shot and monitor your positioning with the screen facing towards you. Yes, the rear facing camera is better quality in most smartphones – but the front camera is more than good enough in modern devices to get great results in most conditions, and we think the benefits of proper framing (production quality & time saved) outweigh the cost in quality. ?

That said – there IS now a way to easily use your PC or Mac as a viewfinder for your rear Android camera so you can get the best of both worlds! Check out this video to see how to do it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GxUmfszrV8A

    Happy shooting!

Great to-the-point video. Open camera is good because it doesn't mirror my video when it's done recording and I view it, but is there a way to un-mirror what I'm seeing while I am taking the video? Thanks!

Thanks for the helpful video. At the end of it you said that you would put a link to a video on maintaining eye contact with the phone camera. Where is this link? I can't seem to find it in the description. Thanks.

Great video. When I film myself on my Alacatel Android phone in my bedroom, I am always annoyed by the way the lighting turns out. One side of my face is darker than the other, and I cannot find a function on my phone to adjust this. Tried to download Open Camera, but it would not download for some reason. Help!
