The most popular question I get is how, “Drew, How can you afford to travel?” — so in this video, I give you a complete breakdown of how I’ve made money to afford my trips to 189 countries.

No, I am not rich and no, I don’t take money from my parents.

I pay for all of my travel expenses out of money that I earned from hard work, and it has involved A LOT of pivoting to whatever is currently working out for me at the time (teaching English — travel blogging — Snapchat — Instagram — Video making — ???)

In the second half of this video, I give you tons of tips and advice for how YOU can find jobs abroad (or remotely) to essentially travel for free. If you have any to add, please comment them below!

This is meant to be an inspirational video, so I hope it triggers some of you to realize how many opportunities are out there because YOU CAN do this too, if you choose! All you need is a wifi signal, a computer and a little bit of courage 🙂

Tired of people complaining they don't have money huh? Well not everyone is in your position. Some people cannot just pack up and leave, they risk being homeless when they get back. Not everyone can "just get a reception job", an airline job, a gig on a cruise ship.
I subscribed to your channel, watched a whole lot of your vids and love them, but get your head out of your arse you spoiled little shit. Grow up and learn about how people live in the real world you **** oh never mind, people like you always do what they want and always judge others for not doing the same, no matter what position they're in

Locational differences my big brother, locational differences! Of the 35million people in Ghana, only 2million owns a passport and it takes an average degree holder like myself 7yrs to get a meaningful job. The minimum wage is 300cedis, that is 60dollars a month. I’m not trying to find excuses, but the challenges transcends beyond ‘find something doing’. Our (Ghana’s) official language is English and that is what is used a medium of instruction in schools, but non of these Asian or European countries will be willing to employ one to teach English. I even contacted one institution, sent them a video of myself teaching and offered to volunteer for the first 3months for free so I could be employed to earn a normal salary foregoing. All efforts has proven futile. Trust me, life is hard and shitty here…
