?ABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but currently call Vietnam home. I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer.

If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I’m a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

  1. truth is there is no such thing as Chinatown is Saigon anymore…where you went were area where Chinese live. before 1975 (before the end of Vietnam war) there is a huge Chinatown call (Cho Lon) in Saigon; where hardly any Vietnamese live in. After the war, many chinese left the country.

  2. We’re so lucky to have you Sonny, I’ve been watching since you were a little baby channel and I’m so blown away by how much you’ve progressed. Damn I was happy with how it was but this just blows me away. Well chosen team you work with, great leadership, I’ve teased you before about being Jake Paul’s dad but on a serious note, you’re nailing it bro. So so proud of you.

  3. Why is he downplaying the dangers of the pandemic? It's almost like he's making a point to say he doesn't understand why people would be hesitant to come out to eat during a pandemic. It's strange and feels… off.

  4. Would you love to visit the eastern belt of India in the twin city of Cuttack-Bhubaneswar to taste the authentic flavors of Odisha(India)? Please check your instagram messages from @theindiegirlove

  5. I'm a Filipino nurse, working in a covid ward here in the UK. I miss my family so much back home in the Philippines. This vlog gives me hope that someday I would be able to go back and see them again. Our fight against covid19 is really depressing that's why I'm hoping that I'd still get the chance to visit my hometown Pampanga (located in central luzon and the food capital of the Philippines). I'm missing the authentic DINUGUAN of Pinoy (mixture of pig head and intestine and its blood as the main ingredient) and SISIG MATUA paired with nice and cold Redhorse beer. ? Please stopover there before you go to the northern Luzon-just heard Liz saying during corownathon that you guys have plan to go to the north. Keep safe!
